What makes POLY special?

POLY is the only device on the market with our unique 5-panel FLEX design, which provides the most superior contouring on the market, allows for treatment in otherwise hard to reach areas, and improves efficacy. As an LED therapy system, POLY not only stands on its own to offer fast, safe, and effective skincare options, but POLY also integrates with, and adds value to, a wide variety of other aesthetic services.

Poly can be used in the home, office, spa, or clinic, for a variety of treatments. Currently POLY is being used in the treatment of acne, skin rejuvenation, and pain management. POLY for acne, however, is currently prescription only.

A POLY treatment can be as short as 15 minutes, but can certainly be extended based on patient needs. There is absolutely no down time after POLY treatments and clients can return to their normal lives immediately.

Whether you choose to sell POLY on a per treatment basis, or as an add-on to existing services, you will see very fast ROI due to the growing popularity of LED and photorejuvenation procedures. Your business will gain traffic and increase profits almost immediately and with just 5-6 POLY patients undergoing a standard treatment regimen, your device will be paid off.

POLY houses 1,820 LEDs and achieves a coverage area of 1,132cm2. This is among the highest number of LEDs in a single head on the market, and POLY’s 5-panel head is the only one of its kind.

Yes. POLY integrates with almost any other skincare treatment – microneedling, peels, wax, etc. This is a great benefit to skincare practices as they will have versatile revenue options to add to their skincare menu; add-on flat rates, add-on subscriptions, hourly rates, combo rates with other treatments, and a variety of other packaging options are available to physicians and estheticians that make POLY part of their practice.

No. POLY works perfectly as a standalone treatment, however, it also works alongside other products. Most consumers want a more robust treatment “kit”, while some others prefer to use one device to simplify their skincare regimen – POLY satisfies every type of customer you’ll come across.

POLY is FDA cleared for the treatment of acne using Blue light at 415nm or a combination of blue light at 415nm and red light at 633nm. Our POLY Rejuv and POLY Regen systems are approved for sale under the General Wellness Provision put forth by the FDA in 2016.

LLLT stands for Low Level Laser Therapy and distinguished by its power output. LLLT devices achieve a power density between approximately .005 W/Cm2 and 5 W/Cm2. Due to recent advancements in the field of LED technology, however, LED therapy systems such as POLY as now able to achieve similar power densities and therefore produce similar effects.

LED systems such as POLY are attendant free which means generating revenue is much simpler. The treatment area is much broader and therefore it reduces total treatment time for more widespread instances. There is no advanced training or certification required for POLY. There is no tissue damage or chemicals needed to operate which not only reduces your overhead but reduces the amount of down time your customers need to take after treatment to zero. Lastly, LED therapy is a perfect compliment to many other treatment modalities used in the aesthetic and wellness industries including lasers.

Yes, they can – but for maximum efficacy, we recommend leaving the treatment area bare for best results.

For best effect, we recommend POLY be as close to the skin as the geometry of the treatment area will allow. For best results, do not keep the the POLY head more than six inches away from the treatment area.

A red/blue combo head will have half of each red and blue LEDs, for a total of 900 each.

No – eye protection is only required for blue light, but it is recommended as an added precaution for all wavelengths.

LED stands for Light Emitting Diode.

Yes! POLY is an excellent pre or post treatment for chemical peels.

99 minutes is POLY’s maximum treatment time, though for best results we generally recommend treatment times at or below 60 minutes. Always consult your health or aesthetics professional when developing a treatment schedule.

EVERY BODY LOVES POLY!

I enjoyed the POLY experience, both for the visible effects on my skin and the relaxation. I found my skin to be clearer and more even, with a definite reduction in fine lines. It forced me to take some much needed ‘me time’ in an incredibly relaxing environment

The Science of Light Therapy

POLY — The Science of Light Therapy

Light waves and light energy, including those found in natural sunlight, are measured in nanometers. A nanometer is a unit of length equal to one-billionth of a meter.

POLY Systems harness the health & wellness properties of each of these naturally occurring wavelengths and deliver light energy within a specific nanometer range – thus providing maximum power and effective results.

POLY’s interchangeable head panels allows you to offer multiple light therapy services from a single device!

Every Body Loves POLY!

In 2016 we introduced the first POLY Systems to the field of Health & Wellness.

Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons were among the first practices to utilize POLY in conjunction with their services. When POLY received FDA 510K OTC Clearance; Salons, Day Spas, Med Spas, Health Clubs and Wellness Centers joined the medical community in offering POLY Pro Systems to their menu of Spa & Wellness services.

Today businesses across the country are using POLY to attract new customers and increase sales & profits. Many locations offer multiple POLY Pro Systems to handle the tremendous demand.

POLY offers universal appeal and is safe, gentle and effective for all skin and body types.

Red Light Therapy (Energy)

Skin Rejuvenation and Repair for the Entire Body

Red Light Energy at 633 nanometers (wavelength) and 60mW/cm2 (power), has the ability to gently penetrate the epidermis (the outermost layer of the skin) and reach the dermis, (the middle layer of the skin.) This enables it to reach fibroblasts, the cells located beneath the skin that manufacture collagen. Collagen is a naturally occurring protein that helps to lift, firm and tone the skin.

Red-Light does this, in part, by stimulating the mitochondria – the “power plants” within the cells that convert food into a useable form of stored energy. When energy is needed by the cells, it is then converted from stored energy into ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP acts as a ‘super conductor’ that transports energy directly to places within the cells (throughout the body) where it is needed. Red Light Energy induces an increase in cellular energy, which in-turn, helps to boost cell growth – repairing and rejuvenating the skin.

The Halo Effect

While the area of the skin that receives direct exposure from Red Light Energy will see the most effective and beneficial results, many people report (anecdotally) that after exposure to Red Light Energy, they often experience a euphoric feeling of wellness and well-being. A combination of being calm and relaxed while also feeling re-energized.

Blue Light Therapy (Acne Treatment)

Blue light at 417 nanometers helps to clear the skin by destroying the P. Acnes bacteria, which is responsible for most mild to moderate acne.

The P. Acnes bacteria is a harmless bacteria that exists and feeds off of human skin. In some cases, however, the bacteria can spread and grow. This clogs the pores and irritates the skin, which in turn produces the inflammation and redness commonly associated with acne.

Blue light activates a specific compound in the waste products of P. Acnes, turning the waste into a toxin that, while harmless to the person, destroys the bacteria and thus the cause of the acne.

Infrared Light Therapy (Pain Management)

Infrared light at 850nm acts similarly on the cells as red light. Because the infrared waves are longer, however, they are capable of penetrating through the skin and reaching the inner tissues of the body.

Infrared lights are invisible to the human eye and is primarily felt as heat. As such, it is capable of warming and increasing the blood flow to areas inside the body, which in turn decreases the time to heal internal injury and reduces inflammation from strennous workouts or conditions like arthritis that cause pain and soreness.
